There may be some configuration tweaks you can do with the game your video card settings or your operationg system settings, if you haven't tried that. I imagine typing 'WOW tweaks' into google might turn something up in that line.
You could also try overclocking your whole deal.
How much benefit you're going to get out of any of this depends on what specific hardware you've got going there.
And on whether or not you fry something, if you try to overclock.
The benefit likely won't be anything much, unless you've got some major misconfiguration going on somewhere that's slowing you down way more than what your hardware's otherwise capable of.
But you're never going to get dx9 graphics out of a dx8 only capable card, for example, if that's your problem.
If your video card is very out of date, and if you don't mind spending a few bucks, it's possible there might be some new video cards out there that are fairly cheap, yet still far better than the one you've got. You could get one of those as a stopgap measure.
