Sinn und Zweck:
Diese ISO hat den Zweck, ein "defektes" Windows 7, welches sich nach der (fehlerhaften) Installation eines Loaders/Activators nicht mehr booten lässt, wiederherzustellen. Das äußert sich z. B. mit dem berüchtigten "Blue Screen of Death" oder mit einem ständigen Reboot des Rechners. Diese ISO bietet eine All-In-One Lösung zum Reparieren der Bootsequenz und zum Ermitteln des passenden Aktivierungsmodus. Es ist damit möglich, einen passenden Aktivierungsmodus zu finden, ohne überhaupt vorher einen Loader installiert haben zu müssen. Das Risiko einer defekten Bootsequenz nach der Installation eines Loaders entfällt damit.
Vorgehensweise zur Ermittlung des passenden Loaders:
Das ISO-File als Image auf eine CD brennen, so dass die CD anschließend bootbar ist. Um die verschiedenen Aktivierungsmodi zu testen, mit der erstellten CD booten. Jetzt können die 3 Modi (Default, Alternative, Older) ausprobiert werden. Dann müssen ASUS Seriennummer und Zertifikat installiert werden. Informationen dazu sind im "Hello world" Textfile im ISO-Image zu finden. Wenn Windows meldet, dass es aktiviert ist, dann ist der passende Modus gefunden. Bitte CD entfernen, den Rechner neu starten und anschließend den Loader mit demselben Modus, wie vorher erfolgreich getestet, installieren. Fertig.
[SIZE=16]Reparieren eines "defekten" Windows[/SIZE]
Um die Original-Bootsequenz wiederherzustellen, einfach die Option "Windows 7 Recovery" wählen. Dabei auf 32- und 64-Bit achten! Dann "Grub Command Line" wählen und den Befehl "fixme" eingeben (ohne Anführungsstriche).
Bitte beachten!
Die Aktivierungsroutine ist nur für Windows 7 Ultimate bestimmt, es sei denn, man setzt einen anderen OEM SLP Key ein.
Weitere Informationen:
Das ISO-Image von 311 MB beinhaltet den Live Loader und zwei vollständige Wiederherstellungs-Images (32- und 64-Bit). So ist man immer in der Lage, ein defektes Windows wiederherzustellen, selbst wenn die Windows 7 Installations-DVD nicht greifbar ist.
Warum das alles?
Anfänger können risikolos und schnell esten, ob ihr System mit dem Daz Loader funktioniert. Wenn man mehrere Computer zu "bearbeiten" hat, kann man diese schnell mit dieser Methode überprüfen. Es muss nichts am System manipuliert werden, um festzustellen, ob eine SLIC 2.1 Emulation auf einem bestimmten System funktioniert.

Bug Reports:
* The results percentage may be off by 0.1%. It's not really a concern, just a text error.
* Windows Photo Viewer produces a software licensing error that reads, "This computer is not running genuine Windows".
* A few testers have reported that all items can appear to "pass" or be "okay", and yet the changes do not take effect even after rebooting.
