The benefit likely won't be anything much, unless you've got some major misconfiguration going on somewhere that's slowing you down way more than what your hardware's otherwise capable of. But you're never going to get dx9 graphics out of a dx8 only capable card, for example, if that's your problem. If your video card is very out of date, and if you don't mind spending a few bucks, it's possible there might be some new video cards out there that are fairly cheap, yet still far better than the one you've got. Flash v9.0.124.0 for Firefox and Opera is included, so Google Video and YouTube work straight away in whichever browser you install. - PASSES WGA CHECKS If you go to download for example, Windows Media Player 11 from Microsoft's downloads section, you will need to validate windows by running the GenuineCheck.exe file that Microsoft asks you to download as part of the Windows Genuine Advantage checks. Its fine to do this, don't be scared of your key being blacklisted. - FLASH - If you install Opera or Firefox web browser(s) in this special MicroXP edition of Windows, you can go visit YouTube or Google Video without even having to install Flash Player.
